Amber and Clinton met Amber's freshman year of high school through mutual friends. Amber and Clinton had the same birthday and Clinton thought that was the coolest thing ever so instantly they became great friends. Actually Clinton was usually a butt head to all the girls in the group of friends we all hung out with, but was always nicer to Amber because, in his words, we had the same birthday so that made Amber cooler. After a few months of hanging out Amber and Clinton decided to be more than friends and had a long term relationship until the end of Clintons senior year in high school. After Clinton graduated they went their separate ways for 7 years. Amber decided she wanted to see Clinton again and sent him a letter to his parents house (luckily she sent it when she did because they had moved to Tennessee a week later). Clinton took about four months to reply to Amber, after he did they decided to meet up for a drink. After that one drink it was fate and they ended up back together and four kids, two dogs, and a house later they decided to make it forever.
Clinton actually had planned a family outing! (This NEVER happens). We had went hiking on the trails at a state park out in Stoughton. Clinton had packed snacks for EVERYONE but Amber! (How rude!). Amber was pregnant at the time of this event. We were hiking on the trails all morning and it was becoming lunch time. Amber was getting hungry and if you ask Clinton crabby. Amber was trying to get the kids to get ready to go get lunch. While walking over the bridge Clinton stopped and grabbed something out of his pocket and gave it to Amber and said here, will you marry me? Clinton said Amber was too worried about a cheeseburger and Amber rushed him, although he had ALL morning. It wasn't the picture perfect proposal you see in the movies, however it was the prefect proposal to fit us.
