FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 9, 2024. If you do not RSVP by then, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you, but we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

This event is cocktail/semi-formal attire. For women: Think knee-length dresses or dressy skirts/tops, heels, or formal flats. For men: Think button-down shirts and slacks or khaki pants. Jacket and ties are optional. *Kindly refrain from wearing jeans and sneakers.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony start time is 4:00 p.m. We ask that you arrive and be in your seat no later than 3:45 p.m. You may arrive earlier than that, and it will give you time to park, sign the guest book, and find a seat.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot directly in front of our venue. They have plenty of space to accommodate everyone's vehicles. There will also be a shuttle to and from the venue. Please look under the "Travel" tab of this website for more details.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we'd love to invite all of our friends' and families' wonderful little ones, we can only accommodate children who are part of the bridal party. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Pending good weather, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, while the reception will be inside the barn. If the weather is not cooperating (you know how Iowa can be), then all events will take place inside.

Question

What if I have questions the day of the wedding?

Answer

Please contact one of our wedding planners Kayla & Kenzie at 515-460-6403 or Donna Muntz (Amber's mom) at 641-990-5311.

Question

Will there be an open or cash bar?

Answer

Our wedding will have an open bar. It will also be heavily photographed, so any drunken shenanigans will be mocked for years to come. Please drink responsibly. :)
