Can I take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, meaning guests get to sit back and enjoy our wedding while our two photographers and videographer capture the day! These pictures will be shared with guests once we have them. Feel free to take pictures/videos during the reception!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Between semi-formal and black tie optional, but please dress as fancy and/or comfortable as you wish! If you would like to match our colors, they are blush pink, sage green, lilac, plum, and cabernet.

Will we be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors! There will be a patio connected to the reception ballroom to enjoy the chilly September evening air.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

September in Naperville has temperatures averaging between 54 - 78 degrees with a 28% chance of rain. There’s a mix of sunny, partly cloudy, and cloudy days.

Can I bring my children?

Children are included in their parents' invitations. Please see your RSVP.

What type of food will be served?

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The bar will be in a sitting room connected to the ballroom.

Will there be a designated smoking area?

Answer

Smoking is not allowed inside the reception building or on the connected patio, but smoking is permitted on the sidewalk outside the entrance of the Baker Community Center.

What time should I arrive at your ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 2pm so please plan to arrive at 1:45 to find seating.

Ceremony - 2pm Cocktail Hour - 4:30pm Dinner - 5:30pm Dessert & Speeches - 6:30pm Dancing - 7pm Goodbyes - 9:30pm

Can I attend just the ceremony or the reception?

Answer

Yes, if you’re unable to spend the whole day with us, please use your RSVP to let us know what part of the day you’re able to celebrate!

Can I RSVP by mail?

Answer

To save costs, paper, and time, our guests can RSVP directly on this site instead of mailing a card back to us.

Can I post wedding photos to social media?

Answer

Please wait for the bride and groom to post pictures of themselves/the event before sharing pictures of the couple to social media. Thank you!

What is the theme/color scheme?

Answer

Our wedding will be decorated around an early Autumn love story theme. Our colors are blush, sage, lilac, plum, and cabernet.
