Things To Do

Welcome to Lexington, aside from our wedding there is plenty to do. Here are a few things we recommend!

Visit a Distillery

Make a stop along the Bourbon Trail at any nearby distillery. There are several located in and around Lexington, including in the Distillery District and elsewhere.

See some Horses

4201 Versailles Road, Lexington, KY 40510

When in the horse capital of the world, see some horses. Keeneland's fall meet will be closed in November so no races, but visit and tour the grounds. You can also book a Horse Country tour to see some of the best horses in the world at various horse farms nearby, including some who have raised champion Derby winners!

Kentucky Native Café

417 East Maxwell Street, Lexington, KY 40508

Such a sweet spot for small bites and good drinks; walk through a greenhouse to find the gem that is Kentucky Native Cafe.

McCarthy's Irish Bar

117 South Upper Street, Lexington, KY 40507

IYKYK. The staple bar of all our Lexington friends and many of Charlie's (& some of Amber's) favorite memories are here.

Grab a bite to eat!

There are too many favorites we have in Lex when it comes to food to list them all individually so here they are together! Pricier- Merrick Inn, Malone's, Jeff Ruby's More affordable- Winchell's, Local Taco, Ramsey's, Bourbon n Tolouse, Planet Thai
