Make a stop along the Bourbon Trail at any nearby distillery. There are several located in and around Lexington, including in the Distillery District and elsewhere.
When in the horse capital of the world, see some horses. Keeneland's fall meet will be closed in November so no races, but visit and tour the grounds. You can also book a Horse Country tour to see some of the best horses in the world at various horse farms nearby, including some who have raised champion Derby winners!
