How far is the venue from the St. Louis area?

Answer

Depending on where you are coming from, the venue is about an hour to an hour and half depending on traffic. You may want to plan drive time into your schedule. Remember... Google Maps is your friend!

If I am from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

Please see the "HOTELS" section on our website. We've researched hotels in the area and tried to find the best accommodations for you and your family.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all formal wear or casual-formal. But please be advised that the parking lot is gravel, the ceremony is on grass and the reception hall floor is concrete.

What do I need to know about Covid stuff and this event?

Answer

You are welcome to bring a mask and wear one if you feel that you would like to use one. The venue and the bride and groom are not requiring masks be worn or guests need to be socially distant. The venue, bride and groom are not requiring that guests be vaccinated and not requiring proof of a negative Covid 19 test. Sanitizer will be available at the bar. Please be prepared if you would like to have your own hand sanitizer or mask on hand.

Will directions be provided to get to the venue?

Answer

The address will be available to all invited guests. Guests are responsible for directions to the venue and allowing for enough travel time.

Is the event handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes. There are no stairs needed to access the ceremony area, cocktail and reception area. There will be a handicap accessible restroom. All tables can be made wheelchair accessible.

Will transportation be provided from the hotels to the wedding venue?

Answer

A shuttle or transportation will not be provided from the hotels to the wedding venue. However, depending on which hotel you stay at, the wedding will be about a 10-25 minute drive from lodging.

Will there be a designated smoking area?

Answer

There is a patio located outside of the barn. This patio area will be a designated smoking area.

Will the bar be free, partly free or a cash bar?

Answer

All drinks will be provided to guests free of charge.

When do I need to reserve my hotel room by?

Answer

Please make your reservations BEFORE April to ensure that you can receive any special discounts on hotel rooms.

Where are the wedding registries located?

Answer

You can access the entire wedding registry here on our website by going to the "REGISTRY" section. Amber and Caleb are registered at Crate and Barrel and Target along with other specialty shops only accessible online. Please be aware that the registry lists must be accessed online rather than in-store due to Covid-19 store regulations.
