Our story began all the way back in elementary school, where we first met. We grew closer in high school, and before long, that friendship turned into something more. Many of our earliest memories are tied to Wednesday night church services, long drives, and endless jam sessions, especially during the time Cade had a broken foot and couldn’t do much else. Over the years, we’ve been each other’s biggest supporters, cheering from the sidelines at soccer and football games, track meets, dirt bike races, and everything in between. Five years later, We were camping in our newly renovated camper along the North Shore at Spirit Mountain. That morning, Cade asked Amber to dig through his bag to find him an outfit. By pure luck, the ring was hidden in the only pocket she didn’t check... completely unaware that everything was about to change. That morning, we decided to enjoy a quiet picnic at one of our favorite spots along the north shore. Amber was setting up her phone to take a photo, but Cade had something else planned. As she turned away to look for Archie their dog to join the photo, Cade dropped to one knee and completely caught Amber by surprise. It was the perfect moment simple, sweet, and everything we had dreamed of.
