Lexi and Amber have been best friends for over a decade. They first met in middle school but became inseparable in high school when they joined the JV cheerleading team their sophomore year. Their friendship continued to grow at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they both worked at the Savitt Medical Library and earned their Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism. Now, they both work in marketing and share a love for Disneyland, spa days, and finding the best deals at TJ Maxx. Lexi has been by Amber’s side through every major milestone, and she’s honored to stand beside her on the most special day yet.
Chris Gunning
Best Man
Chris and Brad met in 2018 when Brad started working at Whole Foods Market. The two immediately bonded over their shared love of Star Wars, video games, and great jokes. Over the years, their friendship has only strengthened—whether hanging out at Lake Tahoe, playing rounds of golf, or hitting the shooting range together. Brad couldn’t imagine his wedding day without Chris by his side as his best man.
Sonja Montanus

Sonja and Amber met at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2016 and became roommates the following year. They lived together for two years before Sonja finished her undergraduate degree and moved back to California, but distance has never been an issue for their friendship. They love weekend getaways to Sonja’s family cabin in Northern California, indulging in snacks and wine during That '70s Show marathons, and reminiscing about their college days. Amber was honored to be a bridesmaid in Sonja’s wedding to Michael Montanus in May 2024, and now Sonja is returning the favor.

Michael met Brad through a couples’ trip organized by Amber and Sonja, and the two hit it off instantly over their shared love of board games and beer. Since then, they’ve made plenty of great memories, including attending a WWE event, competing in game nights, and enjoying multiple couples’ trips to Lake Tahoe. Whether it's strategizing over a game of Pandemic or cracking open a cold one in Michael's back yard, Michael and Brad always have a great time together.

Fransisco, better known as Paco, met Amber in the business school at the University of Nevada, Reno, and their friendship began when he complimented her Ugg boots—a moment that sealed their fate as lifelong friends. While Amber eventually switched majors, their bond only grew stronger. Whether they’re traveling, exploring new restaurants, or attending music festivals, they always have the best time. Most recently, they fulfilled a dream by seeing Lana Del Rey perform at Outside Lands. Paco is thrilled to celebrate Amber on her big day.

Camie and Brad met at Whole Foods Market and became fast friends. Whether they’re geeking out over Star Wars theories, comparing their intricate Lego sets, or engaging in deep conversations about life, Cami and Brad always find something to laugh about. Their friendship is built on shared interests and good laughs.

Amber and Jessica first met in their AP English classes at Carson High School, where they bonded over literature, sarcasm, and eventually friendship. Jessica admired Amber’s quick wit, and Amber was always impressed by Jessica’s intelligence. After high school, their friendship only grew stronger, even with Jessica’s recent move to the UK. Despite the distance, they always find time for their shared passions—food, travel, and deep conversations over a great meal.
Scott Johnson

Scott is Amber’s first cousin on her father’s side, but he and Brad became instant friends when they first met at the Johnson lake house in July 2019. Their similar sense of humor and love for a good joke made them instant kindred spirits. Since then, Scott and Brad have bonded over lake days, family gatherings, and their shared excitement to officially become cousins-in-laws.
