Our story began all the way back in 4th grade, when we were just kids sitting next to each other in our classroom. Amber always had a crush on Ben (even if he didn’t notice at the time), while Ben took a little longer to realize Amber was the one. Our friendship continued to grow throughout high school, and by our senior year, it had developed into something a little more. After high school, we headed to Iowa State with no clue what was in store for us. We navigated college life together and stuck by each other through every season. We loved cheering on the Cyclones and attending all the football and basketball games. Some of our favorite memories include standing outside Hilton Coliseum for hours in freezing temperatures with our friends just to get a good spot at the basketball games! We often say we wouldn’t have made it through college without one another. Finally, during our senior year of college, Ben proposed on a spring break trip to Florida. What started as a childhood crush turned into a lifelong love story, and we can’t wait for our next chapter together!
