What should I wear?

Answer

We are asking everyone to wear semi-formal attire. Dresses can be gowns or cocktail dresses. Jackets are not required for men, but please no jeans. Be mindful of heels as the ceremony will be on grass and the parking is gravel.

Where should I stay?

Answer

There is a list of lodging recommendations on this website. We recommend staying on Beech mountain, close to the venue, so you dont have to drive the steep Beech Mountain Parkway late at night. There are plenty of house rentals available. There are two hotels down the mountain in Banner Elk as well.

Question

Is this an indoor or an outdoor event?

Answer

This will be an indoor and outdoor event. Our goal, weather permitting, is to do the ceremony outside. Keep this in mind when choosing your attire for the day/weekend as it may be chilly up in the mountains at the end of November.
