Alex and Amber met over a dating app in the summer of 2020. After a few FaceTimes, Alex asked if he could take Amber out on a date in person. He drove down first thing in the morning on a Saturday and didn't leave 'til late evening! It was a unique first date, considering how the pandemic was affecting city life. Throughout the following months, Amber & Alex visited one another, swing danced in parks, played bocce, and ate a lot of New York pizza!

Alex proposed under an archway in Fort Tryon Park on November 20th, 2021 -- the same archway they had danced under during a rainstorm on their first date!
