They knew each other in junior high and high school. They ran in different friend groups, but they still knew of one another. Once graduation came, everyone went their separate ways and their lives began. Fast forward 8 years... Amber runs into Alex at a bar that she loves to go dancing at, right before her 26th birthday. He came to her birthday party and took her dinner the day after, where they caught up on life and had great conversation. On the day of her birthday Alex said, "I will take you dinner." Amber was happy to hear that and told him that they had spent the whole weekend together that she would be fine without the dinner. Alex insisted that he take her dinner because that is what FRIENDS do. FRIENDS?? FRIENDS!! Amber read that text over and over again thinking that she would be friend zoned and that was the LAST thing she wanted. She agreed to the dinner and had a great time. They spent days and weeks together going to dinner, movies, dancing, walking around Target, etc. Then February 20th came around and that was a great day. They spent the whole day together having lunch, aimlessly walking around Target. Alex dropped her off at a girls night and picked her up afterwards. He was driving her home and he looked at Amber and said, "So I like you and you like me and I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend?" Amber blurted out yes and then moments later started crying because she was happy and scared of what she felt. Parked out in front of Amber's parents house Alex asked her, what is the matter and through the tears Amber said, "I am falling in love with you and that is scary." Amber instantly wanted to eat her words, but then was shocked when Alex replied with, "I am falling in love with you too."
