We understand you guys might have a few questions for us, please review the following commonly asked questions and answers to see if we have already answered some of your questions. Can't wait to see you guys on our special day. Love Amber & Abbott!
Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, button downs in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators. We understand it will be hot so we want you to feel comfortable in whatever you wear. P.S. Feel free to bring a change of clothes or a swim suit there is a pool on the property so if you get too hot and want to take a dip we don't mind.

Does our wedding have a theme?

Answer

We don't have a particular theme however our wedding will be an ombre of pastel pink, purple, blue, and green. Feel free to try to match the colors.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus ones are welcome for those guests who are flying solo as long as we are made aware of them at the time of RSVP and they are not someone we have already explicitly announced as unwelcome at the wedding.

What's for dinner?

Answer

The couple will be serving Chuy's Tex Mex. Guests will be a choice of two enchiladas filled with seasoned ground beef, roasted chicken or cheese with your choice of sauce, served with Mexican rice and refried beans. Cocktail hour will be serving chips, salsa, queso, and creamy jalapeno dip. Welcome hour will be serving an assortment of fruits and vegetables.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

If you notify the couple of any dietary restrictions we can make arrangements for your particular needs.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome at our wedding please just notify us of their attendance before hand.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoor - mostly shaded. Reception is majority indoor but there are areas you can hang out outside.

Will there be alcohol? (The most important question we know)

Answer

Hell yes, throughout the entire day we will be supplying an assortment of alcoholic beverages as well as non-alcoholic beverages. You are welcome to bring more if you want to share with the bride and groom! :)

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It will be hot! Our wedding is happening during the summer in Texas so please be prepared for warmer weather. We will be supplying some sun screen and bug spray at the start of the day along with plenty of water.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony during our welcome hour, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! (because we will start without you)

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is free! There is parking available at the very entrance of the venue along the hill leading up to the venue and parking at the top of the hill for guests to use. (first come first serve for the closer parking up top) Please be warned that the hill is a bit steep going up the drive and is a bit of a tight squeeze - we recommend people guests not try to go up and down the drive at the same time to avoid any accidents.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, as long as you share the photos with the bride and groom later!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

You may mail back your RSVP but we recommend using this website to RSVP to help us better track our guests who have RSVPed. Please RSVP for the wedding by June 1st, 2023. Thank you!

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We will be having a welcome hours just before the wedding ceremony to allow for people to arrive early with time to mingle and enjoy drinks. We will be starting the ceremony right at 5:00 PM if you are late please do not disturb the ceremony by coming in to the area after we have begun.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly

Where are you registered?

Answer

Our registry is synced with this site so you can easily find items the couple is interested in however our preferred gift is a small donation towards our honeymoon fund. Please and thank you!

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

We will not be provided transportation we recommend getting an Uber or Lyft.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Maybe, it depends on how the bride feels when you ask her that day.
