Newport's Gilded Age Mansions
Gilded Age mansions were lavish houses built between 1870 and the early 20th century by some of the richest people in the United States. The Gilded Age comes alive with engaging audio tours of life in the Newport Mansions.
Newport Car Museum
The private collection of 100+ automobiles at the Newport Car Museum focuses on eight decades of modern industrial automotive design and celebrates cars as works of art. From the 1950s to the present, separate galleries for Ford/Shelby Cars, Corvettes, World Cars, Porsches, Fin Cars, Muscle Cars and Mopars have been carefully curated to appeal to men as well as women and to all generations, from grandparents to parents to children.
International Tennis Hall of Fame
The International Tennis Hall of Fame honors both players and other contributors to the sport of tennis. The complex, the former Newport Casino, includes a museum, 13 grass tennis courts, an indoor tennis facility with three courts, three outdoor hard courts, one green clay court, a court tennis facility, and a theatre.
The Sailing Museum & National Sailing Hall of Fame
The Sailing Museum and National Sailing Hall of Fame is a nonprofit educational organization that promotes sailing and racing by recognizing individuals who have contributed to the sport, highlighting sailing's contribution to the American culture; and demonstrating its value as a hands-on tool for teaching math and science.
Cliff Walk
A 3.5 mile walking path along the cliffs of Newport that offers amazing views. There are several entry points along the way, including one near First Beach and Salve Regina. It is accessible daily from sunrise to sunset and dogs are welcome on leash!

Thames Street is Newport’s waterfront hot spot - packed with shops, cafés, and nightlife, all just steps from the harbor. A must-stroll for coastal charm and vibrant energy!

Ocean Drive in Newport is a breathtaking coastal route that winds past rocky shores, sandy coves, and grand historic homes. Perfect for a scenic drive, bike ride, or picnic stop, it offers sweeping ocean views and a true taste of Newport’s seaside beauty.

The Nitro Bar
The Nitro Bar in is a trendy coffee shop known for its nitro cold brews and seasonal lattes. They also offer breakfast sandwiches and grab-and-go fare. Expect lines during peak hours. There is also another location at 2 Pond Ave which tends to be less busy.

Hotel Viking has a great seasonal rooftop bar and lounge (Top of Newport). They offer handcrafted cocktails, elevated bar fare, fire pits and great view of Newport. Their restaurant (One Bellevue) serves an amazing breakfast. There is also a small coffee shop/cafe inside the hotel lobby.
