FAQs

Weddings should be fun, but there are a lot of details. If you don't see the answer below text, message or call one of us.
Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Color! We love color, flowers and joy. This is a winter wedding so dress warm or in layers. Ceremony and reception are both indoors. Our theme is vintage and vibrant. Think pinks and creams accented with vibrant teals and fuchsia wrapped in a vintage feel. Knee length or longer dresses, suits or shirt with tie.

Question

Accessibility?

Answer

The chapel is handicap accessible, but there is no wheelchair access to the small washroom. The reception is fully accessible for the whole event. Please RSVP with any accommodations you may need.

Question

Where do i park?

Answer

Ceremony: Parking is tight on the Chapel grounds and there is no street parking in the area. We ask that you find a carpool buddy and park at the reception. Address is on your invitation. Distance is 1.5 miles to Chapel. If you need handicap parking or have mobility issues, please park at the chapel. Info available here. https://duncanmemorialchapel.com/faq/ Reception: Park anywhere at the reception location. There will be signs for entrance from parking lot side.

Question

Gifts required?

Answer

No. Gifts are lovely, but absolutely not required. We want to share our day of love with you. We are combining two households, three kids, two cats and a Waffles... so we pretty much have everything we need. If you would like to bring a gift please see the registry tab. We are trying to save for a small honeymoon getaway next year as well as a home remodel to fit us all.

Question
