Guy and I grew up in the same town and went to the same high school, but we never once crossed paths. Looking back, it feels like the universe was just waiting for the right moment. Years later, after too many near-misses, we finally met for real. That chance encounter changed everything. Our first real date was low-key: takeout at my house in Lansdale with a Terrifier movie marathon. We talked and laughed for hours, and the next day I found myself telling my mom about Guy—something I’d never done that quickly before. For some reason, I just knew he was special. Life together is simple and perfect for us: weekends with Gunner, Costco runs, cleaning, video games, binge-watching shows, and ending the night with cheesesteaks from Peppe’s or buffalo chicken pizza from Pizza Box. Guy proposed on our third anniversary at Longwood Gardens—one of our earliest date spots. It was a tiny, quiet, perfect moment surrounded by thousands of christmas lights and exactly what we’d always hoped for. We’re excited for everything ahead: travel, kids, growing old together, and cheering on our friends. We can’t wait to celebrate with you. Amber & Guy (and Gunner)
