Amber and I have been together since the beginning. She’s the best womb-mate I’ve ever had, the best sister I could ask for, and one of the dearest people I have in my life. Growing up as twins was always a fun adventure especially wearing the same outfit just different colors. As life progressed I’ve had the private of growing and learning with you every step of the way. Through the random games we would make up as kids, playing every sport imaginable, the countless trips to new lands, and our ever favorite crawfish boils at the lake.

One of my earliest memories of our friendship was when you took me to my first high school party. At the time, it was one of the best times I'd ever had. You were there for many of the pivotal moments in my life when we were teenagers that would help shape who I am today. First high school dance; first party; first time visiting a college campus, just to name a few. Since you are a year older than me, you ended up teaching me a lot about life, being a good person, being open-minded; all in spite of the fact that you were "destructive". I looked up to you back then, and I still do to this day. I'm glad that we were able to remain friends over all of these years, and I really look forward to the future.

Amber joined my kindergarten class halfway through the year and we were instantly best friends. We grew up with each other and she was like a second sister to me. She was my friend through childhood adventures, our awkward middle school phases, high school crushes, and eventually we went to Texas A&M together. Amber is such a caring, fun, smart, and sincere friend and I’m so lucky to have had her in my life for the last 20 years.

For a long time, we lived across the hall from each other. We have too many stories and memories from those days to count. We always have something to reminisce about. From all of the times we would get a group together and play Nintendo, to that one New Years Eve when we were stuck in College Station and had to make the best of it. Even your 21st birthday when you broke your arm, the cause of which remains a mystery to this day. Good times. I never get tired of talking to you about life, history, and politics. I can always count on you to give good advice when I need it. You're a great guy; I can't think of a single bad thing to say about you. I'll always consider you to be one of my best friends, and I'm endlessly grateful that we met and got the opportunity to get to know each other.

I met Amber in middle school. We bonded over an embarrassing love of Pirates of the Caribbean and heated, important debates about who was better, Aragorn or Legolas (it’s obviously Aragorn). Amber has always been a friend I can count on for whatever I might need, be it late night Pokemon Go runs, quickest responses to texts, or random heart to hearts. I’m so lucky to have had such a wonderful friend in my life and one that I will have for the rest of my life.

I'll always be thankful to you, because had you not invited Amber to come to a party we were having, she and I never would have met! We spent a lot of time together during the years we lived in the house. In our spare time we would hang out, watch TV, shoot pool, play ping-pong and video games. We were constantly laughing and telling jokes. You're one of the smartest people I know and also one of the kindest. I have never seen you talk down to anyone or make them feel stupid. You're eccentric, audacious, and you always try your best to bring people joy where ever you go. I think you might actually have a heart made of solid gold, and you should probably consult with a cardiologist or at the very least your primary care physician.

What a beautiful friendship Amber and I have formed over the last 10+ years. From volleyball in middle school, to high school dances and midnight picnics, I could always count on her to be the life of the party. Through our time at A&M, our friendship continued to grow and our midnight picnics turned into midnight fuego runs and I truly got to see your love for holiday decor, especially if it had to do with pumpkins. I’m so blessed to have such a loving friend like Amber in my life and I look forward to where the future leads us.
