Horseback riding at Oglebay
Stable Hours Open daily 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., weather permitting. *Rides by reservation only. Seasonal Trail Rides Take a relaxing, guided trail ride through the woods at Oglebay. Trail rides are conducted at a walking gait. Trail rides may be scheduled year-round. Rates: $50.00* per rides, per hour *Availability is based on weather and trail conditions. Riders must be at least 9 years of age. Lessons Learn to ride English or Western in our indoor and outdoor arenas. All lessons include grooming and tacking up. Riders must be at least 7 years of age. Private Lessons: $45.00* per rider, per hour $30.00* per rider, per ½ hour Group Lessons: $30.00* per rider, per hour Trail & Pony Rides Perfect for littlest cowboys and cowgirls! Rates: $10.00* per rider, per 10 minutes *Suitable for children ages 2 and up. Barn Tours Tours of the stable are conducted during regular business hours at no charge. No reservation is required.

Aerial Challenge Course at Oglebay
Discover the adventurer in you as you take on Oglebay’s Aerial Challenge Course. Offering exhilarating combinations of rope walks, obstacles, and climbs, you will come face-to-face with the ultimate test of physical fitness and mental toughness. This course is perfect for team building or family fun! Hours: September 3-30- Saturday & Sunday 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Last climber goes up at 6:30 p.m. Height Requirement: Guests must be 60″ tall to enjoy the course independently. Those who are 48-59″ tall may enjoy the course with an accompanying adult 60″ or taller. Pricing: $15.00 per person / $12.00 per person for Wilson Lodge & Cottage Guests. Segway Tours at Oglebay Park
The Segway Personal Transporter is the perfect way to explore the scenic beauty of Oglebay. Tours take riders on an adventure through the park’s hard-surface trail system to enjoy breath-taking scenery. Segways are environmentally friendly — no gas, no fumes and almost no noise. Plus, they’re easy to learn and fun to ride. Tours depart daily at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. Tours depart from the Schenk Lake Boathouse. $50 per person.
