No, although we do love your little ones we kindly asked that you find a sitter so you can truly enjoy your time with us.

How should I dress?

Answer

We’re calling it Forest Formal, but not TOO formal, this is the mountains after all so bring the whimsy! Men, ties are welcome but not mandatory. *NOTE that this is a fully outdoor wedding on grass, so wear comfortable shoes! Plus we’ll be dancing all night under a full moon so we need your feet to last! Since this is September in the mountains, it should be warm during the day but usually cools off to around 65° in the evening so bring a light jacket or shawl.

Where is there to stay?

Answer

Arnold, Murphys, & Angels Camp are the closest towns to the venue (within 35 min). There are tons of Airbnb’s and small hotel/motels in the area.

I’m staying the weekend, what is there to do?

Answer

Murphys is a super cute historical town with shopping and wine! Definitely worth taking some time to check out but there’s also Calaveras National Forest (our almost venue) which is fun to check out for the day and do some light hiking.

Where should I fly into?

Answer

The Sacramento International Airport is the closest large option, it’s a little over 2 hours so a rental car will be necessary! There is also Oakland/ SF international, it will add about an hour to your trip but sometimes have more affordable/reliable flight options.

Is Uber Available?

Answer

Because it’s such a small town cabs are available but there will likely be limited access for Uber/Lyft. We recommend having/renting a car.
