Bri is my bestest friend in Cali since her husband Matt set us up on a date to become friends and worked out wonderfully. My favorite quality about Bri is her encouragement and support. She has impacted my life in so many ways by our deep conversations, our FaceTime calls about the worst days of our lives, no judgement but grace and lovingly telling the truth to each other that calls for godly spiritual growth. She also has impacted me with her true loyal friendship when I lost hope in having a true friend.

Trevor and I met at Moody living on the same floor in our dorms. We quickly became friends and have been friends for a long time. The quality that I appreciate about Trevor is meaningful words because they have brought nothing but support, the truth, encouragement, and laughter. He has impacted my life with his friendship and fellowship over the years with our lives and walk with the Lord. More so, he is my true brother in Christ.

Emma and I have met in our PCM (Practical Christian Ministry) which was CFA (Child Evangelism Fellowship) and we became very fast friends. She was my very first true friend at Moody and I knew she was going to be a lifelong forever friend. My favorite quality about her is her kindness and gentleness. She is the most sweetest and kindest friend who is so encouraging and supportive. She has a true gift in words of encouragement and affirmation. Emma has impacted me with her listening skills, her patience, her sense of humor, our late night talks, and her true friendship that is so full of joy. Her personality was so refreshingly honest and authentic that I absolutely needed to be friends with her.

Caleb and I met at Moody living at the same floor in the dorms and became friends with similar interests and lifestyles. Caleb's quality that I enjoy is how he is easygoing and knows how to have a good time. He has impacted my life with enjoying our similar interests together and willing to partner and support me in our church's ministry together.

Hunter Merleau

Hunter and I met at Moody and through a mutual friend. We got to know each other more and enjoyed our jokes and laughter. Soon after, we became very close friends. My favorite quality about her is honesty, vulnerability, and nonjudgemental because she encourages me to be vulnerable but also to be honest with myself and never judged me for it. She has impacted my life greatly with so much laughter, our weirdness, complete honesty without any judgement or condemnation and encouraged me so much to continue to fight on. She has been so so good to me as a friend with our great deep conversations about everything serious and everything not so serious.

We met at Moody on the same floor in the dorms and became friends after playing spikeball outside of the library. Shaggy's quality is his jokes and sense of humor are my favorites because he is an eccentric unique guy that is awesome. How Shaggy has impacted me is his true joy, infectious optimism, and always making people laugh especially me.

Gail and I met at Moody as coworkers at the Storeroom on campus. We became very fast friends as I found out of her great sense of humor and adventurous imagination. She has a beautiful quality of humility and thoughtfulness. She impacted my life in a way that she would call me out and correct me as iron sharpens iron when I was full of pride and arrogance. She was very humble and kindly reminded me of the Lord humbling me and to be corrected/disciplined. I am so happy to have a friend like that and she is so thoughtful always because she would always slip notes of encouragements and kind words about our friendship over the years of Moody. (I still keep them to this day as I read them for encouragement.)

I met Thomas as a surprise roommate because I didn't have a roommate the year before and didn't know what to expect for my first roommate. Thomas and I became close friends and great roommates. I can't really pinpoint my favorite quality about him because he has so many and we lived together but he did impact me with all of those qualities in a lot of ways. The impact was encouraging me, and helping to remember to pursue and keep pursuing what God is calling me to do for His glory.

Becky and I met through my cousin Tony who is her boyfriend. When we first met, we instantly clicked because I knew I needed a tall friend like her. Just kidding, she is so full of laughter, generosity, and joy. We became fast close friends and enjoy having inside jokes and going shopping. My favorite quality about her is how she is so generous and so bubbly and full of energy. She has impacted my life with her friendship, her infectious joy, and always making me feel included and part of the family.

Jordan and I met at Moody on the same floor at the dorms but really became close friends after finding out about living in the same town. His greatest quality is words of affirmation and he has impacted my life by being there for me, being a great thrift shopping buddy, and hanging out doing things talking about anything.

Ena is my sister and I first met her when she was born. I absolutely adore and love her so much and I am so honored to be her older sister. My favorite quality about Ena is her creativity, imagination, and intelligence. Her friendship and relationship has impacted me so much in so many ways with making me a part of her life and accepting me as her sister but also with all of the amazing conversations we have. I am so grateful for our joyful silly times and for giving me the privilege of getting to know the wonderful sister I have in Ena.

Romuel is my younger brother. His greatest qualities is respect and listening because he treats and shows it well to me and our younger sister. He has great listening skills with all of us as a family. The biggest impact he has made on my life is being my brother and spending time together doing our favorite things like video gaming.

I have known Brian growing up since I was little at Harvest Church and he is my stepdad's best friend. He is a wonderful pastor in Wisconsin and an awesome dad as well as a husband to Lorrie. He has also honored us with accepting the request to be our officiant as well as being our premarital counselor along with his wife.

I have also known and grown up with Lorrie as a kid at Harvest church and she is the most fantastic mom and super cute wife to Brian. She is super funny and outgoing which is why we are blessed to have her along with Brian in being our premarital counselor.

David: Esther is my younger sister and my favorite quality is her creativity because she always found a way to make something beautiful or colorful in her own style. She has impacted my life by being my sister and our fond memories of watching tv shows and movies together but also creating crafts and art. Amaya: Esther will be my sister-in-law and I am so excited about that! My favorite quality is her quirkiness and authenticity. I love that because it’s so cute and awesome that she expresses and has the confidence to act as her beautiful and silly self. She has impacted my life with her welcoming me into her life which is a huge privilege, having conversations with me, and talking about our common interests.

Niko is my cousin. His greatest quality is being adventurous and loves to meet new people. His biggest impact is involving me in his craziest funniest adventures and sharing his life with me.

I (The bride) have known Matt since middle school at church as I was friends with his older sister and got to know Matt. In the beginning of 2021, Matt suggested that I go hang out with his then fiancee Bri and see if we have friendship chemistry and I will forever be grateful for Matt suggesting that. A quality that I appreciate about Matt his sense of humor but also his loyalty to others. He has impacted me with his friendship and with his wife Bri.

I (the bride) have known Caleb since high school at church and we have gotten to become great friends in young adults ministry. My favorite quality about Caleb is stubbornness, loyalty and not willing to compromise because he will always stand for what's right and for the truth. He is willing to be the only one that does not compromise his values and beliefs. He will never let you down if you got his back. His friendship has impacted me with his courage and encouragement as well as being a loyal friend.

I (the bride) have gotten to know Richie through our friend group of Matt, Bri, Caleb, and others at the young adult ministry. The quality I love about Richie is his compassion, passion, and perseverance. He has so much passion and excitement about the things he enjoy like music and really expresses that. He also has so much compassion for others that are searching, lost, and in need of a friend and for Jesus. He has endured and persevered with joy through all of the curveballs life has thrown at him. He has been an awesome friend but also a brother to me with encouragement, strength, and laughter.
