How are you addressing the COVID-19 crisis?

Answer

We hope you and yours are healthy and safe during this time, and we appreciate all the love and support we’ve received from each of you. We understand that the situation is in constant flux, but based on the current CDC guidelines, the availability of vaccines, and the recommendations of our state, we plan to gather and celebrate. We anticipate that masks will be required regardless of vaccination status. We will keep you informed if this should change, however. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Attire: Dress to impress in your dress, jumpsuit, dressy suit or suit and tie in summer shades and fun patterns! Our ceremony and reception are held outside, so you can expect to encounter grass and gravel - a consideration when selecting shoes.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please get in touch with any concerns! There will be dairy free, gluten free, and vegan options available.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Historically, Stroudsburg has lows of 49 degrees and highs of 72 degrees in the beginning of September.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

You can join us for the ceremony and reception at the SCI Pavilion at Stroudsmoor Country Inn at 257 Stroudsmoor Rd, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The ceremony will be under the sun and the reception will be held under the SCI Pavilion.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Free parking can be found next to the SCI Pavilion at Stroudsmoor Country Inn, where we will be holding the ceremony and reception.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, to allow all of our guests, including parents, the chance to have an evening of relaxation, we request that the ceremony and reception be for adults only unless an invitation is extended.

Are the ceremony and reception location accessible?

Answer

There are entrances to the venue that have either steps or a slight incline. The reception and ceremony are held in the same location, the SCI Pavilion. The ceremony is held in a grotto at the SCI Pavilion that is accessible via a flight of stairs, but there will be seating above the ceremony on the level of the reception.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will have a cocktail hour with open bar and appetizers, followed by dinner and dessert. Get ready for buffet-style barbeque, lawn games, and an ice-cream truck! Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions so we can make sure you can enjoy our reception.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

We are renting our centerpieces as well as adding pieces that were gifted to us from Alex's grandparents. Please leave these at the reception.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #AMatchMadeInSeverns so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
