Shante and I met at Penn State University in Altoona. Our friendship began as we did ministry together. So many laughs, memories and still we continue. We've been apart of each others journeys and more regardless of the distance between us. She is more than one of my best friend's, she is my sister who understands me inside and out like no other.

Adam and I met through his brother, Brandon. We have been friends through thick and thin, literally (skinny and fat). He is great listener, music enthusiast, observative, and always has a joke. He is a true friend! Adam recently got married to the love of his life, Kelly. Fun fact: Adam convinced me to pursue my relationship more seriously with Alyssa, so I wouldn't be at this point if he hadn't provided that wisdom. Thanks man!!

Quierra and I have been best friends since our Deer Park Middle Magnet School days. No matter where I am, Quierra has been supportive and encouraging throughout my journey of life. She is my personal counselor and truly the bestest friend a girl could ask for. I don't know what I would do without her.

I've known Jarred, all his life (LOL). I actually met Alyssa at my younger brother's Sports Awards Ceremony in May 2016. So, Jarred takes the credit for "hooking" us up! Jarred is my exact opposite but he is everything I wish I was on opposite days. My brother doesn't like to share me with anyone but he really likes Alyssa "Sister-in-Law" so with his approval (LOL) it became a match made in heaven.

Ever met a person that thinks like you, acts like you and likes to do the same things as you? That's Angie! Angie and I met in college during my sophomore year. We did everything together: ran a campus ministry with Shante, became RA's and we both even got our Masters and became educators. Not to mention our children are only 8 months apart and our husbands couldn't be more alike. She is my person!

Justin has been one of my closest friends since we met in elementary school. We were Edmondson Heights Elementary safety patrol. We shared a lot of laughs and good food. We once had a summer filled with surf & turf for breakfast for about a week straight. Justin always has a smile on his face, and he keeps you smiling and laughing. He has a great heart and loyal to no end. Justin is also a member of the married men club. Justin always has a mindset for business but desires to be a marine biologist (Lol not really). He's a business, man!

Never would forget Adam's Graduation Celebration. The day that I met three of my closest friends, more like sisters. Chene' and I instantly connected that day and ever since she's been one of the sweetest people I know. Her laugh is contagious, and her heart is pure gold. More than that, her excitement and positivity fill the room. She’s everything that I need in this life.

Desmon is one of the 3 amigos along with Justin. We've been friends since Edmondson Heights Elementary School. Desmon has always been a great friend. He is loyal, accountable, silly and funny. We share a love for video games, music and Charlestown Retirement Home (LOL). Desmon loves Japanese culture and he's been to Japan countless times. He is an experienced engineer and an entrepreneur trying to get out the "matrix."

Kelly was the first person I met the day I was introduced to the "Squad" and their friends. Kelly's spirit is what drew me to her. God truly gave her gift of words because whenever I needed some Words of Wisdom, she had me covered on all sides. Her bubbly personality matches mine and we can get in trouble together too. She is truly my true partner in crime.

My guy, Dominick! We've been friends since high school where we met at the Johnnycake bus stop. We had many discussions spanning from Naruto to college admissions. In fact, thanks to Dominick, I passed algebra II because of him; he is one of the smartest guys I know. Dom is also a great listener because he is another brother who puts up with me when I'm emotional.

My first year as a teacher was the craziest and wildest year of my life but it was the year I met two of my closest friends, my sisters, and Tanaja was one of them. Tanaja puts the FUN in fun. Her realness and openness is like no other. No matter how much fun we have and sometimes too much, God is always in it. My journey would not be the same if we we didn't cross paths.

I’ve known Brandon for more than half of my life. I met him when I attended MSBC Summer Camp. He was one of the Camp Counselors. Since that time he has been like an older brother to me. He's treated me just like a little brother, I’ve been the inspiration of many inside jokes (LOL). Brandon introduced me to Adam and we've been family ever since.

Meeting Ronda, the real PK (Preacher's Kid), my first year as a teacher was God ordained. In a world where your christian values and standards are misunderstood, she understood me. She never knew how much I needed the conversations, the laughs and most importantly the fun, even when it was too much. She brings joy and comedy to any room and is truly the funniest person I know.

When I was 6 years old, my mom came home and told me that she was pregnant, and I remember praying that God gave me a little brother. Nine months later, Antonio came into this world and I was so excited because not only did God answer my prayers but I became a big sister. Well, now my little brother is my little BIG brother. He often plays the protective role. When Joshua started pursuing me, he would never forget to remind him to take care of his sister. For the most part, Tony keeps to himself, but he has a big heart that loves unconditional especially to those that mean the most to him.

Amora was the baby that helped Joshua prepare for the arrival of Jackson (#AmoraChangedMyLife) and is Jackson's best friend. Amora, the daughter of Angie Dominique, has a smile that lights up any room. At one years old, Amora loves Encanto, swimming and spending time with Mommy and Daddy.

Levi is the son of Austin and Shante Woodlin and also is Alyssa's Godson. Levi is very intelligent and loves trains, cars and trucks but more than that messing with his big sister Eden!

Jackson is our gift from God, our son. Jackson is one smart toddler who loves to play especially in water, walk/run, do things without any help and eat whatever Mommy and Daddy are eating. He especially loves to be with Mommy.
