It all started during my junior year in the halls of Central High School in Macon, GA. Being my usual, studious self, I would hurry off to class, hoping to make it before the tardy bell would catch me. In the midst of racing from one side of the building to another, Tariq would always manage to cross my path. He would come up, hug me and say "Hey Bae". At first, I thought he was crazy and I was not eager to be his "bae". Fast forward to senior year, a simple kiss at a Friday Night Football game created the sparks to our now love flame. By homecoming night, he asked me to be his girlfriend. We were just kids, trying to figure out our lives. We managed to survive a long-distance relationship throughout our college years. Who knew that a month before our five-year anniversary, on the day that I walked across the stage at The University of Alabama to receive my bachelor's degree, he would get down on one knee in front of my closest family members and friends and ask my hand in marriage! I can't wait to begin my journey of being Mrs.Marshall with the love of my life!

I remember when I was in the 11th grade. I used to see this girl who was in my friend Nykia's class who I used to think was really cute.I thought to myself, "If you want something, you should claim it; speak it into existence." When I saw Brittany in the hallway, I would call her "Bae". Things really didn't get serious until that football game. I remember sitting with her, watching the game and when it was over I walked her to her mom's car. Just before we got there, I kissed her. After that, the rest is history.
