We have wanted to get married for a long time. While we could have done something small, we would have had everyone traveling to us or we would be traveling. We might as well go somewhere new and fun, right?
Rachel does not charge for her services! Using a travel agent means she will deal with all the nuances of planning your trip. She will know who is coming, where they are staying, everything. She can handle everything, all you need to do is let her know you’re coming to the wedding and how long you want to stay. This also makes our planning process easier so that we know how many people are coming and when to schedule exciting events for our guests.
Yes, you will need to get a passport in order to go to Jamaica. It is a quick flight from Miami, but it will be outside of the USA so please get your passport in time.
Once you’ve decided to join us, call the travel agent. We will also use this site for online RSVP to the wedding and other events.
We would love to plan a welcome dinner and maybe a group activity, but we want to wait until we see who is coming and how many people.
We are planning on celebrating Christmas when we get home. We are hoping to host a reception in March at our home, but details have not been set.
That’s entirely up to you! We are getting married to celebrate our love and our family. Our boys will be there. If you want to include your child or children on your stay at the resort, we will welcome them to the wedding.
Make sure you pack your bathing suits! The resort has a water park, the beach, so much to do! Don’t forget the sunscreen! For the wedding, we ask you wear resort casual. The wedding will be outside in Jamaica, it will be warm to hot. Stephanie is also superstitious about black being worn at weddings, crazy but true, so please don’t wear black.
We would like for everyone to enjoy themselves, but we do not need everyone to take pictures at the ceremony. Enjoy the ceremony without your phone, tablet or camera. We will have professional pictures taken for us.
