We met in the summer of 2016 during orientation for our college program, just before starting school that fall. What began as an easy friendship slowly grew into something deeper as we spent more time together and realized we were building more than just memories, we were building a life. Fast forward to Valentine’s Day 2024, when we found out that we were going to be parents! It was scary and exciting, but having each other made us confident that we could do it. And we did! On August 24th 2024, we welcomed into the world Rene Franqui III, or as we all lovingly call him, Trey. A month later on his birthday, in front of friends, family, and our baby boy, Rene Jr. popped the question! As we look ahead, we’re most excited to spend forever with each other. We feel incredibly blessed to continue growing as a family and to make a vow to each other, and to God, to walk through every season of life together.
