Having won multiple National and Local food awards, JAYD BUN has proven itself to be Authentic Chinese dining at its finest. Specializing in bao buns and noodles, this hole in the wall shop has become a staple for those visiting the area. **Due to its popularity, customers need to order through an email 1-5 days in advance to be ensured a spot on a given day. --- No dine-in. Beavertail State Park

This beautiful state park was the location of Noel and Amaris' first date. Home to the third oldest lighthouse in the United States, Beavertail State Park is the perfect location to visit for fishing and nature enthusiasts. The scenic ocean view softens the island's rocky shore to create a wild reminder of the sea's strength. This is also one of the best locations in the area for saltwater fishing, though be careful! Those rocks are slippery! It also sports a little aquarium --- Which is great for the kids! --- open daily from 10:30 am-4:30 pm in June (unless otherwise noted). No cost for admission.

Maritime Museum At Battleship Cove

The location of one of Noel and Amaris' favourite dates ever! Walk through a vital piece of American Military History at Battleship Cove! Housing the USS Massachusetts, one of the only 8 remaining WWII Battleships worldwide, this Museum is the perfect way to spend a day both learning and having fun! Known as the "Lucky Ship" the Massachusetts never lost a single man in battle, despite fighting in many battles all over the world. If you prefer wandering through something a little smaller than a battleship, the museum also houses the USS Joseph P Kennedy Jr. (Destroyer) and the USS Lionfish (Submarine). (Located in Fall River, Massachusetts, this attraction is a little further away, but SO worth it) God bless all who have fought and died in wars in service to their country.

RISD Museum

If you like art, this is place for you! Known for its collection of both classical and modern art, the RISD Museum is the perfect place to spend an afternoon when wandering through the streets of Providence.

Cliff Walk

Walking along the cliffs of Newport, you have a chance to glimpse the glory of the Gilded Age without breaking the bank! With multiple entrances along the trail, the Newport Cliff Walk provides a flexible and low stress activity to witness the Newport Mansions and escape the tumult of this famous New England town. It is one of the best places in the area to see the ocean! No cost for admission. Parking locations may charge.

Roger Williams Park Zoo

This Park and Zoo is the ideal activity for families! Within these walls, over 800 animals feel at home in each of the 8 different themed habitats. Take your kids out of the backyard and into the savanna! Trek with them across Asia or march through the wetlands of our home North America and see rare natural beauties, like the Red Wolf, and beasties, like the Babirusa. If your kids prefer running in circles, take them to the grounds' Carousel Village where they can go for a ride on a horse or train(weather permitting)! --- Weekdays, open 12 – 6pm & weekends, 11am – 6pm. The grounds also sport a Museum of Natural History and Planetarium for anyone wanting to travel beyond the stratosphere in the comfort of this Rhode Island must-see. Have fun!
