October is a Festive Month in the Blue Grass!
Your October Lexington visit to celebrate Amaris and Matthew's wedding will be a great opportunity to be immersed in the richness of Kentucky fall festivities. In addition to music, harvest events and SEC football, one of the highlights will be the Keeneland Fall Race Meet, a premier thoroughbred racing series that takes place each year. Located across from Keeneland Race Course, this is the closest airport to downtown Lexington, about 20 minutes by car. This is a smaller airport that usually requires a connecting flight by Allegiant, American, Delta or United Airlines.
