How Do I RSVP?

Answer

Please go to the RSVP tab and fill out your full first name and last name. Please fill out all names in your family party who will be attending. If you have any questions or if you get a message to notify the couple, please reach out to Amara at 301.800.5020.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly with our vendors. The last day we will be accepting RSVP for final headcount is 8/16/24. Once the deadline has passed the RSVP option through the site will no longer be available. Please reach out to the bride or groom, if necessary.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive a half hour before the start of the ceremony. Please arrive by 3:30pm so that you may be seated prior to the start of the processional.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. The ceremony will take place outdoors in the Garden, so please be conscious of shoe choice.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The temperatures in Pennsylvania in September can average as low as 65°F and high up to 75°F. The ceremony will be moved indoors if it rains.

Where is the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will take place all at the same location, White Chimney Estate. The address is 5117 Lincoln Hwy, Gap, PA 17527.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. If rain is on the forecast, the wedding will take place indoors in the Barn. The reception is indoors in the Barn.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures. Guests can head straight to the cocktail party under the tent and garden area.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

The venue has onsite parking. Parking is free. No parking permitted overnight.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those that were given a plus one.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Please see the “Travel” tab on our website for the booking information. The closest hotel to the venue is Comfort Inn which is 3 minutes away. Feel free to utilize the link in the Travel tab to get a discounted rate. The Wyndham and Tru Hilton is closest to the Outlets and other activities to do in the area.

What type of food and drinks will be served at the reception?

Answer

Beverages and appetizers will be served during cocktail hour. Dinner will be served buffet style. Please let us know if any diet accommodation need to be arranged. Please notify Amara 301.800.5020 ASAP.
