WHY DOES MY INVITE SAY "RECEPTION ONLY" OR "CEREMONY AND RECEPTION"?
Answer
Although we would love to spend the entire day with our loved ones, the ceremony space only allows for so many people and because of that we limited the invites for the ceremony. We love you all dearly and it was a difficult decision but those who aren't able to come to the ceremony, you still can join us directly after for dinner and fun! Thank you for understanding.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Answer
If you are invited to the ceremony, we recommend that you arrive by 4:30 pm to make sure everyone is on time. If you are invited to reception ONLY, we recommend that you arrive by 6:00 pm to make sure dinner can begin on time.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Answer
This is a formal event (dresses and suits). We urge you to wear one of the colors from the swatch on the back of the invitation (gold, cream, tan or burgundy).

DOES YOUR WEDDING HAVE A THEME?
Answer
The theme is romance! We want a night filled with love.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

CAN I BRING A DATE?
Answer
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK FOR GUESTS? WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND I STAY?
Answer
We do not have a hotel block as majority of the guests are from Chicago. We have a list of nearby hotels (see the Travel page) to choose from if you are coming from out of town with distance from the venue and if they offer shuttle services.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY TO POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Answer
We kindly ask that you be present during the ceremony. We will set aside a time to take photos during the ceremony but ask that phones be put away outside of that window. We don't want phones captured in the photographs or videos our photographers/videographer are taking. We also ask that you DO NOT post on social media during the ceremony. During the reception feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you want to share on your pages or keep for your memories!

WHAT ABOUT FOOD AND DRINKS?
Answer
Dinner will be provided following the ceremony. We are also having an open bar! Turn up with us but please drink responsibly.

WHEN IS THE RSVP DEADLINE? DO I NEED TO MAIL BACK MY RSVP OR CAN I DO IT ONLINE?
Answer
Please RSVP online on or before July 1, 2025 through the link in your invitation.

DO YOU HAVE A WEDDING HASHTAG?
Answer
Yes, our hashtag is #RootedInLoveWithBosley (if you get it, you get it. If you don't, you don't lol) Please use our hashtag when you post anything on social media so we can see it!
