We do, We do!

It goes down in the DM! Haha. Well, facebook messenger for us! And the rest is history. After a few weeks of strictly telephone communication, we finally met up in Queens at his favorite spot of all time and we have been down ever since! We quickly fell in love and we are so thankful that we did.

If you know anything about Antoine, then you know how meticulous he is when it comes to detail! When we first started dating we would always go to Flushing Meadows park in Queens, and walk around the globe, and he used to tell me all the time I’m going to marry you specifically in that park and I would just be like OK lol and keep it pushing fast forward to some years later and his initial plan was to propose me there but the weather did not permit. He had me convinced that we were just doing a family photo shoot so I thought we were still doing that and we went to Queens but then we ended up going to a very special restaurant to him, Pio-Pio. As I walked in felt a little different than normal and the server asked me to go to the back room where they hold special events and that’s where I saw all of the most important people to me! He asked me to marry him and the rest is history 💍 🫶🏽

There is no story of Amani and Antoine without Nava and Carter. Our kids are us and we are so blessed to have them, they are the light of our lives and they keep us going. From Nava’s vivacious and spunky attitude to Carter’s funny and silly personality, they are truly our world and we are so thankful to God that they chose us.
