On December 29th, we "matched" on J-Swipe and texted until the wee hours of the morning. On December 30th, we met in person at Hudson Malone - a bar in Midtown Manhattan - where we talked for hours until we were the last two people in the bar. At 3AM it was time for us to say goodnight. We walked together to the corner of 53rd Street and 2nd Avenue where Gabe tried to kiss me. I "cheeked" him as I got in the cab. Over a year later, we've had only amazing moments and cannot wait for forever together.

Gabe proposed to Amanda on the same corner she cheeked him after their first date. Now the corner of 53rd Street and 2nd Avenue will be known as the corner where they got #engabeged. One surprise followed the next. When we got back to our apartment to call our friends and family, our families were already there waiting to celebrate! That night, Gabe suggested we grab a drink at Hudson Malone - the place our story began. We walked into the bar and were swarmed by our families and friends and spent the rest of the night celebrating our engagement with the people we love most.
