We're getting married!

Rick and I were set up on a true blind date. My hairdresser convinced me to let her set me up with her husbands client she swore was perfect for me. Rick was then given my name and number and the ball was in his court. Rick set up our first date, a drink downtown at Luna Red, early enough for a backup plan to meet up with friends if it didn't go well. Luckily neither of us needed to use our backup plans. We met at the outdoor bar and drinks turned into dinner, dinner into dessert, and here we are now!

We had gone hiking on a Sunday morning, in Montana de Oro. I was completely surprised at the top of Valencia Peak as he got down on one knee, with the ring my grandmother had given to my mother. After my shock and tears were cleared I finally was able to get out a YES and then made him repeat everything he had just said. We celebrated with the beautiful views before heading down the mountain to call our families. We are so excited to have everyone we love to come together and celebrate with us. Can't wait to have you all in SLO!
