Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our wedding is being hosted at the McLaughlin Home, located in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Both ceremony and reception will be held at this venue. Please see parking directions below.

Where should guests park?

Answer

Guests will park across the street from the venue in a designated lot (shopping center). Guests will be shuttled from the parking lot to the backyard wedding venue. It will start promptly at 3 o'clock. At the end of the evening, shuttles will take guests back to their cars. If at any time during the evening you need to leave, a shuttle will be ready to escort you.

Answer

Transportation shuttles have been arranged due to limited parking at the wedding venue. Please park in the Enterprise Bank & Trust parking lot where you will find ample parking and signs directing you to the shuttles. Shuttle service will start promptly at 3 o'clock. Because of this, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to allow time for the shuttle to take you to the venue. From the North, you will take exit 83 toward Junipero Serra Rd. Turn left onto Junipero Serra Rd. Use the right two lanes to turn right onto Rancho Viejo Road. Turn right on Ave Los Cerritos. You will enter the parking lot of Enterprise Bank & Trust: 31351 Rancho Viejo Road, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675 From the South, you will take exit 82 for CA-74 / Ortega Hwy. Turn right onto CA-74 East Ortega Hwy. Turn left onto Rancho Viejo Road. Turn left onto Ave Los Cerritos. You will enter the parking lot of Enterprise Bank & Trust: 31351 Rancho Viejo Road, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are more than welcome to arrive 45-60 minutes prior to the beginning of the ceremony. A shuttle will be ready to transport you to and from the private residence as early as 3 o'clock. Please plan to arrive no later than 3:30pm as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.

Can I bring my kids? Will there be a babysitter?

Answer

As much as we would love to provide a babysitter, our venue doesn't allow for this. Therefore, we ask that only children 10 years old and up join us for the ceremony and reception. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause!

What should I wear?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to wear cocktail attire to our wedding! Think spring wedding & garden party! Floral dresses and pastel colors are encouraged for women. Slacks, button-up, & sport coat for men, tie optional. Please refrain from wearing all white or bright fluorescent colors.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bride and groom will take photos with their families. All other guests are welcome to head up the stairs for cocktail hour.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but we expect to have sunny weather with some potential cloud cover. The entire venue is outdoors, so feel free to bring sunblock and a jacket depending on the weather forecast.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding will be an unplugged ceremony, allowing our photographer to capture these special moments. We request that you not take photos or be on your cell phone during the ceremony, but you will have access to the photographer's photos online.

What's for dinner?

Answer

Come hungry! We are having Taco Guy cater, which includes a selection of tacos, nachos, quesadillas, & of course chips and salsa!!

Will there be dancing at the reception?

Answer

Yes!! Feel free to bring flip-flops or tennis shoes to change into after the ceremony so you can dance with us on the dance floor!!
