One of our favorite breweries in town! Moderate walking distance from the Marriott.
Spend a few hours at this nationally renowned museum that celebrates the nonviolent protests of the 1960s including the famous Greensboro sit in at Woolworth's lunch counter.
Lots to do here. All ages fun indoors, and a community garden and playground outside.
All the pinball, Guitar Hero, and arcade games a child (Jonathan) could want. Also features a solid beer selection and outdoor pizza kitchen.
By far our favorite cocktail bar for date nights in Greensboro. Great atmosphere and even better drinks. The street traffic is loud and so is the graffiti art outside.
Filled to the brim with knick knacks and oddities from its former life as a thrift store, Elsewhere is a living art museum. Their creatives-in-residency program brings in artists from all corners to live and experiment. It's the Wonka Factory of eye candy.
For our money (which they get fairly often) the best breakfast/brunch spot in town. Go in and try one of their tomato juice based cocktails the morning before we get Bloody Married.
Limited seating, but worth it for the burritos and asian inspired tacos. Get an order of french fries served in a takeout box in our honor.
This pop-up museum will be housed in the Greensboro Project Space at 219 W Lewis St through March 13th. What luck! Related events are planned at other locations about town as well. See website for more details.
