What to wear?

Answer

Dress in your summer best! It'll most likely be warm so we want you to be comfortable. There will be lots of photos to be taken!

Please RSVP by June 1st so we can plan food accordingly.

What time should I arrive at the Reception?

You won't want to miss the beginning so make sure you are seated at 5:30!

Absolutely! Make some special memories together!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, yes, yes! There is a big playground right next to the shelter. If you are comfortable with it, they can go play at the playground while you enjoy yourself at the shelter. You'll be able to see them. They might not be the biggest fan of BBQ or German food so might want to bring them a snack...

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Plenty of parking will be available.

What if it rains?

Answer

We have a back-up location (KS National Guard Armory) and we'll notify you 24 hours prior to the event. Make sure you RSVP so we can know to contact you!

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Unfortunately not. The park does not permit alcohol. However, whatever is in your cup is your business! We certainly won't be checking anyone's cups!

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Yes! We'll open the dance floor after dinner and you can dance your little heart out! There will be some traditional dances- Newlyweds 1st dance, Father/Bride dance, and, of course, the dollar dance! Get those dollar bills ready!
