The East Coast Trail offers a stunning way to explore Newfoundland & Labrador’s Avalon Peninsula, with paths winding past cliffs, sea stacks, fjords, and the Spout geyser. Highlights include abandoned settlements, lighthouses, seabird colonies, whales, icebergs, the southernmost caribou herd, historic sites, a 50-meter suspension bridge, and active archaeological digs. Trails vary in difficulty, and some may require two cars (or you can turn back if needed). Favorites include: Sugarloaf Path Cobblers Path Cape Spear Path Father Troy’s Trail Stiles Cove Path
