Every Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM, this Farmer's Market has been a staple in our relationship from the beginning. Taking the time to explore this market and support local farmers is something we look forward to during the summer.
This historical village contains some of our favorite restaurants, bars, & boutique shops. During the summer, you can walk from shop to shop exploring each local small business. Some of our favorite stops include: Village Books, Drizzle, Galloway’s, Iron Rooster Bakery, & Babygreen’s Plant Shop.
This accessible bayside park is a perfect place to take a casual walk, grab a cup of coffee, & enjoy the beauty of Bellingham Bay & the surrounding San Juan Islands.
We love exploring the three and half miles of trails, which features a number of waterfalls, still pools, & forests along the Whatcom Creek Gorge. Prefect for a little mid-day adventure in town.
Fun fact: This was the location of our engagement photos. Bonus fun fact: Amanda's Dad's (Jim) senior project at Western Washington University was a proposed expansion to the park.
For our hikers, you can't miss out on the most iconic and breathtaking hike Bellingham has to offer.
Calling all movie buffs, this non-profit arthouse theater is open 365 days a year and is always screening unique and thought provoking films. The couple can be found here quite often and are Pickford devoted members.
