What COVID-19 precautions will be in place?

Answer

The comfort and safety of our guests is a priority. Dinner tables will be spaced 6 feet apart. We'll be planning reception seating based on close family or friend groups. There will be several hand sanitation stations throughout the venue as well as air purifiers. All venue servers & staff will be wearing masks & gloves. We ask that you please consider social distancing & wearing a mask while standing or moving about the venue. There is no official restriction on dancing and dance floors, so it is at your comfort level to bust a move. Any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids! But we want our wedding to be your night off. So please make arrangements for your kids the night of our wedding :)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating starts at 5 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 pm. With it being on a Friday, please plan accordingly. Traffic can be unpredictable in the DC Metro area.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Cocktail attire - cocktail dresses, LBD's, dressy jumpsuits, jackets & slacks - please.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. Directly across the street from the Herrington Yacht Club entrance, there is a parking lot with plenty of parking.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony & reception?

Answer

No. If you stay at The Inn At Herrington Harbour, the ceremony and reception will literally be steps from your door so transportation is not needed. If you choose to stay else where and drive yourselves, there is plenty of parking at the venue. Uber's and cabs are in the area as well, but are not as common as the city so scheduling your Uber/cab in advance is recommended.
