Local Information
The wedding is in Manayunk, which is a neighborhood in Philadelphia up the river from Center City. If you're coming from downtown, it's about 20-25 minutes by car, and valet parking will be provided. For those interested, the venue is right next door to the Manayunk train station, so it's very accessible by regional rail.
Where to stay if coming in from out of town?
There are a few small boutique hotels right near the venue and many Airbnbs/VRBOs within a few blocks.
The closest large hotel to the venue is a Residence Inn by Marriott across the river in Bala Cynwyd. From here it’s just a few minutes' walk across a little bridge to downtown Manayunk along Main Street, full of bars and restaurants and shops. The wedding venue, Platform Thirty, is at the other end of Main Street, so the walk there is 1.4 miles or a 5-minute Uber ride since you’ll be dressed up. Alternately, there are many hotels downtown if you choose to stay in Center City.
