By fate alone, Tim Bennett and Amanda Counsellor were on the same bus to North Fort Myers High School for the first day of our senior and freshman years. From the moment Tim walked up the steps with his massive backpack and his piercing blue eyes, Amanda heard a voice in her heart say, "That one." We didn't realize it then, but our destinies would be intertwined from that day forward. Over the past 20 years, we have said goodbye more times than either of us care to count. This journey has taken us on unexpected paths, both away from and back to each other's' arms. But despite parting for college, the military, moving out of state, and believing we should be apart because "it's for the best", it has become quite clear that we are meant to be together forever. And on April 12, 2023 (after Amanda received a scroll from a real-life owl) Tim got down on one knee and asked her "Can I keep you?", to which she responded- "Of COURSE you can!" Now we have the opportunity to share our union of marriage with our dearest family & friends from both near & far, and we could not be more excited to see you all there!
