Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are so many lodging options in Boothbay Harbor. We will be staying at the Boothbay Harbor Inn, a ten minute walk across the footbridge to downtown Boothbay Harbor. The Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Inn is next door. There will be a shuttle service from that area to the wedding venue. If you want to stay right in the heart of downtown, Fisherman’s Wharf Inn, or the Tugboat Inn are great options. There are also numerous cozy B&Bs and house rentals in the area. There’s something perfect for everyone.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Unfortunately most of the hotels in Boothbay Harbor do not offer room blocks, and there are also so many options that we know our guests will want to choose one that works best for them, so there will not be a room block.

Is there parking available at Boothbay Playhouse?

Answer

There is parking for up to 80 vehicles at the Boothbay Playhouse. Once we have an idea of where most of our guests will be staying we will update information about a shuttle.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal attire. There will be a short outdoor ceremony (weather pending) on the grass so please keep that in mind when choosing footwear and outerwear. The wedding party will be wearing shades of navy and copper.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The wedding is going to be adults only except for the children in the wedding party. Trust us, we understand that can be difficult, but we are hoping that we are giving everybody plenty of time to arrange for childcare!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate plus ones. The wedding invitations are addressed to the invited guests who are our closest friends and family.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know of any food allergies or sensitivities. We have an amazing caterer who is already working with some known allergies and will be happy to accommodate.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. Guests may arrive any time after 3:30pm.
