We’re getting married!

I (Amanda) have been a big time fan-girl over Thad ever since a 2002 Black Bear candle-lit show at St Joseph’s Hall. Our paths never really crossed (besides the time i puffed up like a peacock when he liked my selection at Video Library). In October of 2020 after he saw me post a video where I covered Bob Seger’s “Still the Same” on my guitar (and he low-key stalked my facebook and realized i also like his favorite band Low) he slid into my dm’s. Normally I’d be flattered but kinda roll my eyes…. But this was different. A Colin Farrel look-alike with my favorite voice and music ever? A couple phone calls later where i realized he has the best laugh (important!) he came to visit me for a walk in downtown Sacramento. He ended up staying 3 days. We hunkered down through the election and covid and he moved into my place by Christmas. I never intended on moving back to Nevada City/Grass Valley but… cmon… this love of mine is building me a 3 bd 2bth house in the woods with a music studio AND a bonified enclosed cat patio. It doesnt get much more romantic than that.
