Both Taylor (Louisville, KY) and Amanda (Dayton, OH) were not familiar with living in a small town. Ironically, that is where they met. An aspiring Graduate Assistant Volleyball coach with one year left in Williamsburg and a young Head Golf Coach looking to begin his career. Taylor and Amanda first met in a professional development meeting for coaches at University of the Cumberlands. After a few weeks of research, Taylor took Amanda to a local pizza spot on their first date, where the beginning of a lifetime relationship began.

On February 16th, Taylor and Amanda were headed for their last weekend of activities before Taylor's spring golf season began. A day full of bad mexican food for lunch, time spent at the Pigeon Forge Outlets (where Taylor had Amanda try on engagement rings---even though it was already bought without her knowing), all capped off by a dinner at Calhoun's Steakhouse on the River (ironic? maybe....you will have to ask Taylor). This was a day that was anticipated for a long time by Amanda, and a plan by Taylor that was in the works for weeks (although he would tell you months). After the UK-Tennessee basketball game ended, Taylor and Amanda took a walk along the Tennessee river where Taylor asked the question that was the beginning to their forever. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
