Question

What about gifts? Are we expected to bring a gift or is there a gift registry?

Answer

We've lived together for quite a while, with all our pots and pans, and as we don't need homely gifts, we've got another plan! We know it's not traditional, and not the way it's done, but rather than a wedding list, we'd love a bit of sun! So if you'd like to give a gift, and send us on our way, a donation to our honeymoon would really make our day! But please know gifts are not expected in any sort of way.

The reception is indoors / outdoors. We plan to be dancing under the stars (as long as the weather cooperates), so expect that it may get a little cooler in the evening.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Absolutely — bring the kiddos. We do kindly ask that parents stay responsible for them so the only chaos is on the dance floor. The venue also backs out onto a vast forest landscape, so keeping tabs on your littles at all times is a must!

Answer

No. Also no cats, bunnies, or unicorns.

What is a toonie bar?

Answer

A toonie bar is exactly what it sounds like: you give a toonie, you get a drink. It’s like magic, but with coins.

Are cards accepted?

Answer

Cash only. Most barns have limited connectivity.

Will there be a dinner?

Answer

No sit‑down dinner. Instead, we’ll have grazing tables with plenty of bites, hand‑helds, and treats—more “appy” style than four‑course.
