Amanda teaches 9th grade English at Wheeling Park High School and has a deep love for reading, hiking, decorating, and, yes—cleaning. Her happiest moments are spent curled up under an electric blanket with her dog, Juno, and a good book on her Kindle. Like many modern love stories, she and Spencer met five years ago via online dating and quickly bonded over their shared love of the outdoors. In their free time, they enjoy hiking and exploring new types of cuisine. The couple also recently adopted a pup named Juno that they they're fond of spoiling. Amanda is excited to share this joyous occasion with beloved family, close friends, and her soon-to-be extended family.
Spencer Brewer
Groom
Spencer is a resident physician at WVU Wheeling Hospital, which means he's usually running on caffeine and a couple hours of sleep—but he still somehow finds time for an impressive list of hobbies. Current favorites include riding (and endlessly tinkering with) his dirt bike, playing video game, and exploring the woods, whether on foot or two wheels. He also loves playing and cuddling with his dog Juno. Originally from Seattle, Spencer moved to West Virginia for medical school. He met Amanda during his first year and they've been inseparable since. He's thrilled to celebrate with family—both old and new—and to also have a few days off in a row.

Amy is a free spirit and one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet. She can be relied on to offer heartfelt advice to a friend as well as be the life of any party. A passionate employee of the National Park Service, she thrives in the great outdoors and loves all things adventurous—fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping are her happy place. She and Amanda have been close friends since their freshman year of college. Though they’re opposites in many ways, Amy is the yin to Amanda’s yang. Their shared love of hiking and their tender hearts have created a lifelong friendship.
Jacob Brewer
Best Man
JJ is Spencer's brother and Best Man. Known for his quiet intelligence and strong sense of character, JJ brings a thoughtful presence that will make him an excellent Best Man. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Southern California. In his free time, he enjoys gaming, weightlifting, and spending time with his loyal companion and cat—Scout. JJ is not only Spencer's brother, but also one of his closest friends, and Spencer is honored that he will be apart of this momentous occasion.
Josie Casto
Bridesmaid
Josie is the kind of friend who goes above and beyond to create something special for the people she loves. Thoughtful and honest, she’s the one you turn to when you need a truthful and unbiased perspective—something that makes perfect sense, given her role as a clerk for the WV state court system. Though Josie and Amanda have known each other since high school, they became friends in the midst of the COVID pandemic when they would meet for weekly walks. Since then, Josie has proven to be dependable and loyal friend—with a delightfully unexpected streak of dark humor.
Dan Casto
Groomsman
Dan is a groomsman, husband to bridesmaid Josie, and proud father of flower girl Katherine. He works as an internal auditor for Kroger—an interesting contrast to his easygoing personality. Dan is someone you can always count on. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, fixing things around the house, and most of all, spending time with his daughter. He and Josie often refer to his time with Katherine as “going on an adventure." Dan is hardworking, dependable, and incredibly thoughtful—especially when it comes to giving gifts.
Rachel Riggs
Bridesmaid
Rachel is a complex person. She is wise in a way that most folks don't achieve until they're much older than she is. She never talks badly about people behind their backs, yet never shies away from honesty when it’s needed most. Her moral compass makes her truly a great educator. Rachel and Amanda met during Amanda's first year of teaching, in 2020. Despite dealing with her own challenges--being pregnant, managing a broken ankle, and teaching during the pandemic--Rachel was and remains a great mentor and friend.
Tim Acord
Groomsman
Tim wears many hats—and somehow manages to make them all look easy. He’s a devoted husband, loving father, dedicated Air Force member, and (perhaps most importantly today) Amanda’s big brother. When he’s not serving his country, he enjoys woodworking, a plethora of sports, and spending quality time with his wife and kids. Tim has many great qualities, but one of his best is his unsuspecting and quiet sense of humor. Amanda is thrilled to have her brother standing by her side on such a special day.
Andrea Lannom

Andrea is the perfect mix of adventurous fun and grounded sensibility. If variety is the spice of life, then Andrea's life would be an incredibly flavorful dish. She's always up for exploring new hobbies, cities, and career paths in public relations. She's currently a public information officer for the Ohio Department of Taxation. Amanda’s friendship with Andrea is the longest-standing of her life. The two first connected while writing for their high school paper, The Tiger Times, during sophomore year. Though time and distance have taken them to different places, their bond remains steady.
Joe Lannom

Joe is a groomsman and husband to bridesmaid Andrea. He works as an external auditor for the Ohio Department of Transportation and is someone who tends to lead with quiet strength and steady support. In his free time, Joe enjoys movies, video games, and spending time outdoors. He’s known for being caring, thoughtful, and always willing to lend a hand—especially when something needs fixing. A devoted husband and father, Joe is deeply committed to the people he loves and shows it in the way he shows up, day after day.
Crystal Cutlip

Despite her youth, Crystal feels like everyone's momma. She is warm and kind, yet unafraid to speak the truth when it’s needed, always in the gentlest, most loving way. It’s no surprise her coworkers and 7th grade students are naturally drawn into her orbit—being near Crystal is like being near the sun. Crystal and Amanda became friends while teaching together. She has not only proven to be a wonderful friend, but also an incredible teaching mentor.
Kilie Pauley

Kilie is the kind of person who would bend over backwards to make life a little easier for those around her. A steady source of kindness, you can always count on her for a warm word and one of the most radiant smiles you’ll ever see. It’s no wonder she’s an exceptional 7th grade English teacher—her heart shines in everything she does. Though their friendship is only a few years old, Kilie and Amanda share a kindred spirit. A lunch date between the two of them at a diner can turn into an hours-long affair of hilarity.
Katherine Casto
Flower Girl
Katherine is the daughter of Josie and Dan, and the youngest (and arguably cutest) member of the wedding party. A sweet-tempered toddler, she loves playing on her swing and slide, reading her favorite books, and spending time with her puppies—affectionately known as her “Brubbers.” Katherine brings joy wherever she goes!
