Emily and Amanda met at Old Turnpike Middle School in Tewksbury, NJ in the 7th grade. They have been friends for 19 years!! ...and have had some crazy memories together. Emily and Amanda have a true best friend connection and always end the night laughing and falling to the floor. If Emily wanted lavender color highlights in her hair....Amanda would be the one to call, even if it ended up disastrous! Purple die all over the Maxfield's bathroom! Their favorite thing to do back in their teenage years was eat Tostitos and cheese dip at midnight while using a phone book to prank call people. Amanda will do just about anything to make Emily laugh and vice versa. They are complete instigators! Miami baby! Emily has a beautiful baby boy named Ben and her second baby is on the way!
Ashley Kimble

Ashley and Amanda met 15 years ago in the 10th grade during Dance Troope, an after school dance club in Voorhees Highschool, Glen Gardner, NJ. They both connected when they realized they hated all of the choreography that their dance captains were creating. Amanda knew Ashley would be her best friend that summer in LBI. After high school they also went to Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ together. Ashley brings out the prankster in Amanda. They are T-R-O-U-B-L-E and love to get weiirrdd. They have spent many car rides singing Christina Aguilera at the top of their lungs...if you ever see these two wander over to a juke box...........well, only Ashley knows.
Sam Geronimo

Samantha and Amanda met in 2nd grade at Hughes Elementary School in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Slumber parties, Britney Spears choreography, and ghost stories were their go to's back in the day. Once Titanic came into theaters..Sam was the first friend to watch it with Amanda. They have exchanged actual BFF knecklaces and they have a pictures of themselves wearing the same limited too tanks when they were 10 yrs old! After Amanda moved to Tewksbury, Sam and her still stayed friends. Amanda was always invited to Sam's high school parties and her beach house in Manasquan, NJ. Til this day, Amanda and Sam are going 25 years strong! "Never let go jack, never let go." Wish Sam a Happy Birthday on September 19th!!
Alanna Bunting

Alanna is the second oldest girl cousin on the Newell side of the family. She is FIERCE. If you were to leave Alanna alone on an island..and all she had was her DJ set-up to play music and had a cat to play with every once in a while...she would not need anything else in life. Alanna will literally dance the night awayyy. She is Amanda's soul sista. When the two of them are together, they love to make up jingles and sing..especially when they had a cocktail or two. Amanda thinks Alanna's laugh is infectious because it brings life to the world. Alanna also looks at Amanda as her younger sister since they are both only children. This means that Amanda has had one to many punches to the arm. Ginger Babyyy (inside joke).
Alicia Collura

Alicia is the girl cousin that is Amanda's age and they have shared many sleep overs together since they were little kids...and still do! One tragedy Alicia will never forget is when Amanda buried her favorite My Little Pony toy in the sand at the Jersey Shore in the early 90's...Amanda convinced Alicia it was a game and they would find it fast..but "firefly" the pony was never to be seen again. Alicia has also convinced Amanda at the age of 4 that she was in fact transformed into a calico cat when she attended Calico Cat Pre School. Alicia and Amanda just know the ins and outs of their cousin friendship!
Maddie Chivi

Maddie is Simon's sister. She is the middle child out of the three of them. When Simon invited Amanda to meet his family for the first time, Amanda was shocked when she saw Maddie because she was tall just like her! Maddie said, while Amanda was about to leave dinner that night.."I'm sure I will see you again." How did Maddie know? Hopefully she will be prepared to see Amanda again and again and again...for the rest of her life as her sis in law! Maddie and Amanda have always connected and have a natural family bond. Congrats to Maddie starting business school at "Kellog" Northwestern University September 21st!
Sarah Chivi

Sarah is the "baby girlll" out of the three Chivi siblings. Amanda immediately connected with Sarah when she said she loved Beyonce during Amanda's first encounter with the family. This is when Amanda knew she felt at home. Sarah has always lent a helping hand without hesitation, Amanda has already borrowed her clothes a few times! Sarah is really just that sweet...there is nothing to really joke about with her...just leave it to Maddie, she has many stories!
Anthony Kordahi
Best Man
Simon and Anthony have known each other since they were 3 years old. In between paintball, tennis, and ping-pong matches, Simon learned about the old country and how to mix concrete for one of the innumerable projects at his parent's. They shared a love of Bad Boys movies. To make a buddy-cop comedy analogy, Anthony was the Mike Lowrey to Simon's Marcus. Simon, who was more focused on Halo than girls would occasionally ask Anthony for pointers. He quickly learned the advice wasn't helpful. Luckily, things worked out for him anyway. Anthony & Simon both went to college in DC and to med school in Newark. They have a shared love of cars, and recent conversations tend to drift into daydreaming about what to get when they finally finish residency. Anthony has two cats named Rafa and Fed.
Dan Costello

Dan and Simon met at Georgetown and were fast friends. Simon was always amazed at Dan's artistic ability, both with a guitar and with a paintbrush. Dan was a defensive lineman in high school and Simon was an offensive lineman. Dan's proficiency at the swat and swim frustrated Simon, who was always a step behind in hallway faceoffs. Dan and Simon both have similar sleeping habits, enjoying a bedside fan as a soothing way to fall asleep. However, Dan's Vornado took it to another level. They have been playing quite a bit of Age of Empires II on Fridays, and Dan's ability to turtle is very frustrating to enemies and a godsend to allies. He also is known for surprise Paladin attacks.
Zander Lee

Zander was the first person Simon spent time with at Georgetown. They spent the first night drinking dark and stormy's out of a water bottle that was cut in half. Simon visited Zander in Maine when Simon and Amanda first started dating, and Zander confirmed "she's awesome man," when Amanda belted out Con te partio by Andrea Bocelli at a friend's house. Zander was also present at the last great unsanctioned house party at Simon's parent's house. Zander is most famous for his essay for Dr. Karber's class in which he described the tactics and strategy of War Elephants throughout history. He used this knowledge to cement himself atop the leaderboards in the Age of Empires power rankings, but halberdiers have forced him to adapt.
Matt Weglicki

Matt and Simon met in their sophomore year at Georgetown, and they found common interest in discussing what was going on behind the scenes in the Middle East. Matt is also known as Breakdance. He earned that name one fateful day at rugby practice, where he wore a t-shirt that read "In case of emergency, breakdance." It ended up being an alias that would endure the test of time. Matt taught Simon how to take things slow and savor the good moments. Matt is the go to advisor for Simon when it comes to enjoying southern delicacies, especially bourbon.
Marcelo Fanjul

Marcelo and Simon met freshman year at Georgetown. Being the 2 Cubans in the group led to heated debate over whether Versailles in Miami was overrated (Marcelo was right, it was), and they've shared a similar transformation in their political views, much to the chagrin of their parents. Marcelo is known for being boisterous and for his high brow jokes. Marcelo is currently challenging Zander for the lead in the Age of Empires power rankings with his highly efficient and persistent playing style. He is known for relentless, flawless attacks and extreme resilience while on the defensive.
Paul Wojcieszek

Paul and Simon became friends in high school, when they went to Honduras to set up pop-up clinics in the mountains. Simon joined the swim team, and he and Paul spent a lot of time wakeboarding, jet skiing, and skiing. Paul was always the adventurous type, and Simon learned to just go with the flow. Amanda and Simon travelled to Krakow to meet Paul and his now wife Zuzia after only dating for a few months. Amanda's fear of flying and Simon's lack of conditioning for a 30 mile bike ride helped them get to know each other quickly. Paul and Simon spent a lot of time travelling together, whether to the BVIs, Honduras, or Mexico. Their last trip to Mexico together led to an interesting situation at the border.
Spencer English

Spencer and Simon met in Hoboken, while Spencer was Paul's roommate. They shared an appreciation for watches, but Simon was inexplicably even more intrigued by Spencer's vast knowledge of air conditioning. Spencer was there when Amanda met Simon at McDonald's, and he can vouch for the veracity of the story. Spencer and Simon have road tripped across the desert together, and they sailed in San Diego for Spencer's bachelor party. Simon spent many nights on Spencer's couch when he was first dating Amanda, and Spencer is most responsible for Simon and Amanda's relationship getting off the ground.
Matt Fallon

Matt Fallon was Simon's roommate at Georgetown. They were determined to throw the best parties possible in a freshman dorm room, and the results were legendary. They both were pre-med economics majors with interest in international relations and technology, a very specific combination of classes that led them to follow a very narrow path together in college. Matt imparted organizational skills and attention to detail that Simon desperately needed. They pushed each other and were a great team in and out of the classroom. Matt stayed in DC after college, and he maintains the home base for all the Georgetown guys for when they get back together. Matt is a new father, and his son Miles is poised to replace everyone atop the Age of Empires power rankings.
