We were set up through our work colleagues, Blaine and Joe. They knew we would be a perfect match! For our first date, Scott took Amanda out to dinner at Smack Shack in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After sharing king crab legs, wine, and endless laughs (all while wearing disposable lobster bibs) we knew this would turn into something more! In fact, every year we recreate our first date at Smack Shack wearing those disposable lobster bibs. We are both excited for many more years of memories!

While on a trip to one of our favorite places, Scottsdale, Arizona, Scott asked Amanda to go on a hike with him outside of the resort. Amanda knew Scott was acting a little too excited for a hike, but she hadn't put two and two together. When they got to the top of the secluded trail, Amanda proceeded to look out over the view and when she turned around, Scott was down on one knee! Amanda SAID YES!! After several minutes of crying and laughter, we called our families and close friends to share the news! We couldn't be more excited to marry each other!
