Our Story Sometimes life feels like a puzzle, and all it takes is finding that missing piece. Neither of us had ever been married before, but we were both searching for the one who would make everything fall into place. Amanda had built a strong, independent life and career here in Southeast Florida... but as social and vibrant as Amanda is...at night, after a long day, she, at times, felt very lonely... longing for a man who would respect her and walk beside her as a true partner in life. Scott, a Florida native, was dreaming of creating a united family, working hard, and finding that same true and stable partnership. He was looking for a loving, kind, passionate “princess” to share his heart with—and Amanda turned out to be everything he had been waiting for. From the very beginning, it wasn’t just the two of us—it was also Scott’s son, who Amanda immediately adored (and who quickly loved her right back). The way Scott loves as a father is the same way he loves as a partner: steady, genuine, and full of heart. He is a man who keeps his word, leads with kindness, and knows how to make others feel cherished. In turn, Amanda’s strength, warmth, and determination brought light into Scott’s life and gave him the partner he had always hoped for. Together, we balance and bring out the best in each other. Our first date was at Lagniappe in Miami, a cozy jazz bar with live music, twinkling lights, and colorful cushioned benches and chairs scattered across the venue. As the music played, the night unfolded...with each music note...they moved closer to one another...and eventually to the tune of a song...Scott put his arm around Amanda, walked her to her car, and gave her a goodnight kiss. From that moment, we couldn’t wait to see each other again—and we haven’t missed many days since. The milestones came quickly and naturally: we met on August 27th, Scott asked Amanda to be his girlfriend on September 7th, and less than a year later, he asked her to marry him on June 7th. Now, we’re tying the knot on March 7th... our lucky number 7! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you as we begin this next chapter—building a life and a family together.
