Scott & Amanda were first introduced to one another at a family gathering in 2017. Scott's brother, Jeff, is married to Amanda's sister, Rachel (crazy, right!?). Timing wasn't quite right then, but fast forward about a year and a half later, a special friendship started to bloom between the two. Feelings started to evolve and before they knew it they were falling for one another! They both have been certain since the beginning that the other completes them in every way! Finally understanding the expression, "when you know, YOU KNOW" & they've never been so sure!

Amanda planned a special getaway to Saint Michaels for Scott's 30th birthday! Days leading up to the weekend Scott was acting quite peculiar, so much so, that Amanda asked if anything had been on his mind.. he shrugged it off as being anxious about turning 30. Come to find out, he had been vigorously planning out just how he was going to pop the question once they arrived in Saint Michaels. After checking into their Bed & Breakfast, Scott insisted they go for a walk by the water before grabbing some drinks at a local brewery; Amanda eagerly obliged!! Scott knew Amanda loved nothing more than being by the water and taking in a beautiful view. 70 degrees sunny sitting on a pier watching the water listening to the birds all while having the most important person in her life by her side... Amanda thought to herself, "I couldn't be any happier!!" & that's when Scott proved her wrong. He did the only thing that could've topped it all off; asking her to be his wife!
