We're excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.

Austin Salt Cave

2951 Ranch Road 620 South, Lakeway, TX 78738
, (512) 838-6545

The Hill Country is famous for its natural caverns. Lakeway also has the Austin Salt Cave, where you can relax amid 11 tons of pink Himalyan sea salt, which recreates the climate of a real salt cave. Popular in Europe since the 1960s, it’s a treatment said to have healing properties for the body and skin.

Hamilton Greenbelt

1173 Lohmans Crossing Road, Lakeway, TX 78734
, (512) 314-7530

Lakeway’s Hamilton Greenbelts are a first-class network of developed and primitive trails that meander along scenic Hurst and Yaupon Creeks. They are beautiful destinations for family outings, walks, jogs and bike rides. Lovingly maintained by volunteers, the intimate Chapel of the Four Seasons is a popular place for weddings and other events for groups of 25 people or less.

Lake Travis Zipline Adventures

14529 Pocohontas Trail, Volente, TX 78641
, (512) 614-1996

Not technically in Lakeway, but very close, Lake Travis Zipline Adventures offers 5 zipline experiences for people of all ages, including the longest and fastest zipline in Texas. You can also picnic, swim, play games or relax in a hammock on their private beach.

Cafe Lago

1200 Lakeway Drive, Lakeway, TX 78734
, (512) 261-8141

Cafe Lago Coffeehouse is the go-to place for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch for Lakeway locals. Their daily specials include a variety of soups, quiche and deli salads. Start your day with a latte, cappuccino, mocha or drip coffee alongside a fresh baked pastry or breakfast taco.

Santa Catarina

1310 Ranch Road 620 South, Lakeway, TX 78734
, (512) 300-0946

TripAdvisor’s No. 1 rated restaurants are among the 41 eateries it lists in Lakeway. A Certificate of Excellence winner from 2015 to 2018, Santa Caterina serves Mexican and Latin food, with an accent on seafood, and plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices available.

Trail of Lights

1102 Lohmans Ford Rd, Lago Vista, TX 78734
, 512-314-7532

One of Lakeway's most cherished traditions is the Trail of Lights! Kick off the season with Lights On! Saturday December 4, 2021 from 6 - 8 PM. Trail of Lights will be open each night from 6 PM - Midnight through January 2, 2022. Access the trail from the lower level of the parking lot at the Lakeway Activity Center (105 Cross Creek) or by parking behind City Hall (1102 Lohman's Crossing at the corner of Lohman's and Sailmaster). Handicapped and stroller access is available from City Hall by following the sidewalk nearest the dumpster cage, around the building to the back. There is no charge to park or to attend. Trail is self-guided. There are no vendors or attendants on site.
