Question

Can we take videos/pictures with our phones during the ceremony?

Answer

NO! NIEN! NEJ! HAYIR! (and in every other language that i am too lazy to look up) In all seriousness we would greatly appreciate it if everyone in attendance just enjoy the day with us. keep your phones in your pockets, and let our two lovely professional photographers do their jobs.

Will there be parking at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be a lot behind trinity church off of Franklin Street, next to Red Jacket Flats (apartments). There is a large parking lot at La Galleria that should have ample room for attendees.

General Transportation Questions?

Answer

We will have a bus available for a very very limited number of people to take any guests who wish to leave early back to a central hotel location (TBD) at approximately 9 pm (our reception goes until 11). This space is mainly going to be reserved for our older guests but if there is additional space anyone else wishing to leave on the shuttle will be welcome. We highly recommend scheduling an Uber or Lyft ahead of time to ensure you have a ride when you are ready to go! Again the reception end at 11 and that's when the Bride, Groom, and wedding party will be leaving. Cab companies in Buffalo are not the best so this is our recommendation.

What do we do in between the ceremony and recception? (Approximately 4.5 hours in between)

Answer

There are great bars up and down Delaware Avenue that would love to host you! Niagara Falls (a wonder of the world!) is about 30 minutes away if you'd like to enjoy some scenery. This is also a great time for a nap to recharge for the reception!! :) Any additional info about potential hosts during this time will be added as we know about them!

Can my child/children come to the reception?

Answer

As much as we understand a babysitter falling through, a child wanting to attend, or any other parental situation that may arise we will not be making any exceptions to our adult only reception rule. If anyone is caught smuggling in their children, we will laugh, but the age limit will be enforced :) Please keep in mind the ceremony is open to all, should that make your day easier! Feel free to bring snacks , that the Groom may need to sample (p.s. he likes mini muffins).

Will there be a receiving line at the church after the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately no there will not. Due to the limited time we have at the church and their rules we are not allowed to have one. The time after will be reserved for a few family pictures at the church before the wedding party leaves for additional locations. However, both the Bride and Groom will be present for all of cocktail hour (6-7pm) so you can greet and congratulate them there.

When can I arrive at the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Doors for the ceremony will open at 11:30 for our guests. Please be 20-30 minutes early as we are on a tight schedule for the church and the location is in downtown Buffalo so parking may be tight. For the reception doors open promptly at 6pm. Get ready to party!
